A New Era?

Battersea High Street Market has undergone a period of regeneration over recent years boosting the growth of new Independent businesses Galapagos Foods, Costa's Barbers and Chez Manny to name a few. Events such as The Victorian fair December 2010 proved to be a success demonstrating effective creative partnership exists between the Battersea High Street Association (BHSA) and Independent Businesses to put on significant events drawing positive attention to a market, previously known for its dilapidation and inability to draw in the right traders to renovate the market. The Victorian Event changes previous perceptions, a new era, a brighter future.....

The Support of BHSA and Wandsworth Council's Lorinda Freint is continuing to ensure Battersea High Street's Market grows as an Event and Foodies location within the borough, cementing this market as a place to attract new trade and visitors. The recent announcement of The Royal Wedding Event at the High Street with full BBC coverage all day at the location, makes Battersea High Street a place to be on the 29th April 2011.
